FAQs:
How long does the registration process take?
If the process does not go to medical audit, the registration process is usually completed within up to a week.
How do you use Atlas points with prepaid plans?
What happens with the seniority of employees?
If the person is already a member, they maintain their seniority; the only thing that changes is the payment responsibility.
What happens when an employee leaves the company?
When an employee who is no longer with the company requests their termination, we contact the person to ask if they wish to continue with the service individually or if they prefer to cancel it. If the employee decides to continue individually, we connect them with an OSDE representative to manage the change of payment ownership. If they choose to cancel, we handle the process for them.
What happens with individuals with pre-existing conditions?
When a person declares a pre-existing condition in their health declaration, the case goes to the company’s audit. This may require additional documentation or medical studies, which can prolong and complicate the registration process. Once the audit is completed, the person may be registered as initially agreed, or the cost of their premium may be reassessed, often resulting in a significant increase.
⚠️ Important:
Do not cancel your current coverage until you receive full confirmation of registration with the new provider.
For self-employed individuals (monotributistas), it is not possible to deduct social security contributions. The offered rate corresponds to that of a direct member.
Regarding OSDE and OSDEPYM coverage:
A person can have OSDEPYM through their monotributo contribution and simultaneously be covered by OSDE as a direct member through their company, as this benefit does not require contributions.
