What is Safety Wing?

Safety Wing is a global travel health insurance covering individuals worldwide while outside their home country, including coverage for COVID-19. You can purchase it even if you are already abroad.

What’s Included?

The coverage depends on the plan you choose. For example, the summarized coverage plan + standard plan benefits include:

  • Emergency room care

  • Visits to general practitioners and specialists

  • Prescription medications

  • Physical therapy

  • Outpatient psychiatric, psychological, or therapeutic treatment

  • Diagnostic studies

  • Complementary therapies

  • Allergy treatments

The terms and conditions specify the details of what each plan includes.

How Do I Purchase It?

  1. Log in to our platform and select the Wellness category.

  2. Choose the desired plan based on the coverage you need.

  3. Purchase the benefit by clicking Get Benefit.

  4. You’ll receive an email from Safety Wing with a link to download their app and activate your plan.

  5. Create an account and fill in your personal information.

Important: Your health plan will not be active if you don’t download the app and complete your profile.

How Does It Work?

Once your Safety Wing plan is active, you’ll receive a welcome email containing all the necessary information, including your membership number.

You’ll use this membership number to access medical facilities within the network covered by your plan.

When Does the Coverage Start?

Activation can take 1 to 5 business days. If pre-existing conditions apply, the process may take longer.

How Is It Paid?

The plan is billed monthly. Payments are automatically deducted from your account on the first day of each month.

Does It Expire?

This benefit has no expiration date. You can cancel it anytime you wish.
