⚠️ Before updating your location, you will need to spend the store credit, cancel subscriptions, and set up a payment method for the new country or region.

What you need to do before changing your country or region:

👉 To use your iPhone or iPad to change the region:

  1. Open the Settings app.

  2. Tap your name, then tap "Media & Purchases."

  3. Tap "View Account." You may be asked to sign in.

  4. Tap "Country/Region."

  5. Tap "Change Country or Region."

  6. Tap the new country or region and review the terms and conditions.

  7. Tap "Agree" in the upper-right corner, then tap "Agree" again to confirm.

  8. Select a payment method and enter the new payment information and billing address. Then, tap "Next." You must enter a valid payment method for the new country or region.


👉 To use your computer to change the region:

  1. Open the Music or iTunes app.

  2. In the menu bar at the top of the screen or at the top of the iTunes window, click on "Account," and then select either "View My Account" or "Account Settings."

  3. Sign in with your Apple ID.

  4. On the Account Information page, click on "Change Country or Region."

  5. Select the new country or region.

  6. Review the terms and conditions, then click "Agree." Click "Agree" again to confirm.

  7. Enter the new payment information* and the updated billing address, then click "Continue."

  • You will need to enter a valid payment method for the new country or region.


👉 To change the region on the web:

  1. Click on "Edit" next to your "Personal Information."

  2. Click on "Country/Region."

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions. You will need to enter a valid payment method for the new country or region.

👉 If you can't change the country or region:
